We have a tooth!

Emery finally has her first tooth! It was discovered about 5:30 a.m. yesterday morning. Last night was the first good night of sleep she's had since Thursday. Both girls were asleep early last night, so John and I got to watch "American Idol" without interruption. Olivia and Emery spent an hour outside this morning at daycare and Liv will have recess again this afternoon at preschool, then drama class after school - she should be good and wiped out again this evening. I will try to post new pics tonight.

Rainy Days and Runny Noses

Emery has been fighting a fever off and on since Friday. I guess she's teething. It's hard to tell. She has a runny nose too, but her behavior and attitude are as nice as ever. I made a big trip to the pharmacy this morning for ibuprofen for Em and sore throat and runny nose meds for John. I guess since it's so rainy (and because of the runny noses) we'll be in for most of the day. Which means John and Olivia will be wrestling and jumping on the beds a lot. I snapped a couple of pics of the mayhem this morning.

Since I can't figure out how in the world to compress a photo and email it, I decided it would just be easier to start this blog and share news and pictures with everyone. On Monday, Olivia asked if she could take Emery to preschool with her this week for show and tell. I thought it was the sweetest thing I had ever heard. So I told her to ask Miss Whitney, her teacher, and let me know. We set the time for 1 p.m. today and I arrived with a very tired Emery. Emery loved checking out all the kids and Olivia was quite pleased to show her off. The kids all sang "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to Emery. Hope you enjoy the pics from the girls' fun day!
